The challenge:
The client had a great product but was unsure of how to take it to market. We developed ten unique, eye-catching jar labels and three combo bags that can work together or alone. Throw in limited run stickers, t-shirts, and hats, and you have a breakout brand that is just the beginning of a long run of new products.
The challenge:
SunFed's growers had perfectly good mishappen fruit left over after each pass in the field. Select retailers were interested, but we needed a way to launch an ugly fruit program. The concept we came up with was for bright and fun takes on famous paintings. The bags show off the fruit, are eye-catching, and definitely something different for produce.
The challenge:
How to call attention to a standout melon in a crowded summer market. Since all mini melons originated from Japan, using a Japanese name was easy. We kept it simple and, most importantly, pronounceable. We then developed a clean large melon label and a brightly colored 4-color simple-to-print bin that draws you in and screams summer. We made the cap easy to punch out for a great billboard. The melon is a huge success and continues growing in volume yearly.
This one's personal. Inhouse project to develop a cold water (because not everyone lives in Hawaii) surf brand. The character and name came to us on a trip thru Northern CA, where the water is always cold. We are working with small independent producers to build the brand offerings.
New product for SunFed Produce. A two count of Mini Watermelons. Worked up these two characters in a hotel in Austin. Very simple clean art easy to reproduce and room to expand on.
